Macha Béranger (named Michèle Riond), born on 22 July 1941 in Vichy and died on 26 April 2009 at Perray-en-Yvelines, is a French radio host. After attending the courses of the Charles Dullin School, Macha Béranger plays at the theatre (Les Troyennes in 1978, All online in 1991) in a dozen films and television series. She is known for her collection of headphones and especially for Allô Macha, the show she hosts on France Inter from April 5, 1977 to June 30, 2006. During this night's "intimate dialogue with listeners" show from midnight to 2am, Monday to Friday, the listeners call to the phone; Macha Béranger listens and responds with sympathy to her serious and deep voice. Nearly 100,000 "without sleep" confide their evil of living, their loneliness, their joys or their sorrows. To be more in the diapason of the states...
